As I have written in my previous post, it seems like the real estate market has come back with a vengeance, but a closer look at the numbers tell a completely different story.
As of July 31, 2013, for the previous 12 months, sales have increased a paltry two percent. How can that be? By all accounts, it seemed like there was a frenzy in the market, but the other important number to consider is this one…………listings are down by a whopping forty two percent in the same time period. My friends on the lending side tell me that loan origination is down 20% since May.
Personally, North Atlanta Home Team site activity is at an all time high, which is a general indicator as to what we can expect in the near future, and that means the future looks good for the North Atlanta market and surrounding area.
