Cabbagetown is a historic district in Intown Atlanta situated just west of Reynoldstown. Originally built to replace the mill town that was destroyed during the Civil War, Cabbagetown was known mainly just for its manufacturing plants until its upturn in growth in the 1990s. With an influx of artists to the area in the twentieth century, this neighborhood has become well-known for fine arts and an eclectic aesthetic.
